We understand that your teeth need to be strong as well as comfortable. Large fillings, chips or fractures can weaken your teeth.

In the majority of situations a crown can be used to overcome this problem. A crown is a covering for the tooth which will hold remaining structures together and provide protection. It is sometimes called a cap.

The tooth is gently prepared to provide a strong base to hold a crown. Crowns can be made from a number of materials from high strength ceramic to a high gold alloy. They can be constructed from all metal, a combination of metal and ceramic or we can use a material such as Procera to provide a metal free crown.

We will work with you to produce an aesthetically pleasing crown having discussed with you all options available.

The same technique used for crowns can be applied to replace missing teeth. This is called bridgework.

A false tooth is suspended from crowns placed on adjacent teeth or attached using the latest adhesive techniques to provide you with a fabulous result.
